Palm Tran Nitrogen Inflation Deployment - January 2008

Installation took place at two PalmTran facilities, West Palm Beach & Delray Beach. Each facility system is made up of - (1) dedicated 15 hp Ingersoll Rand rotary screw compressor, (1) 14 scfm tower-based nitrogen generator system - (1) 60 gallon ASME nitrogen storage tank - (2) digital auto-inflation systems with 6-way & 4-way inflation manifolds.

Each location was divided into two areas, service bay & tire room. Each area received a dedicated digital inflation system for rapid nitrogen conversion. The tire rooms at each facility used a single inflation hose with the digital system for inflation of new tires in appropriate cages.

Dedicated electrical and plumbing was run throughout each facility to isolate the nitrogen project from existing equipment and tools. Startup nitrogen purity at both facilities was 99.5% pure N2 output.
